Description
As a person in my 60’s, I believe we all have fond memories of television and films; we grew up in the late 50’s into the 60’s and 1970’s, long before Livestream, On-Demand or the Internet; it really doesn’t feel that long ago.
When we got home after a hard day’s work at school, we turned the TV on and waited for the valves to warm up so the television would work. Only then could we have our undeniable connection with a game show or television series such as ‘Dixon Of Dock Green’, ‘Dads Army’ or the ‘The Prisoner’. Unlike today’s television, instant connection with many of these shows or series have now been assigned to television history.
This book, it is hoped, will take you back to the happy days of your childhood; of innocence and the acting out of those shows that we grew up with and, from a personnel view point, a world that seemed better for such programmes, shows that we all hold with affection and very fond memories.
Enjoy the trip down memory lane, as many of these shows will never be made again or, in today’s environment, would just simply not be permitted.
