Miko Peled was born and raised in Jerusalem. His father Mattityahu was a General in the Israeli army and later became a peace activist in support of Israel-Palestine reconciliation.
Miko’s books include “The General’s son” and “Injustice, the story of the Holy Land Five”. He served as a paratrooper in the elite Israeli Army, but everything changed the day that his 13-year-old niece, Smadar was murdered by Palestinian terrorists while shopping for books in Jerusalem.
Since this tragic event, he has fought tirelessly for an agreement that would allow Israelis and Palestinians to live together as equal citizens in a benevolent and harmonious society.
